  1. David was a brave man and a warrior (1 Samuel 16:18).

David had courage and strength. David was not shy, ashamed of himself, and turned inward.
He was not afraid of a challenge or fearful of his enemies. God’s secrets to success and wealth involve courage and a willingness and ability to be a warrior. Warriors do more than survive. They keep coming back and getting up until they win. They have a winning mindset.

  1. David could speak well (1 Samuel 16:18).

David had good communication skills. Success and wealth is often associated with people who have good communication skills. Take communication classes and learn how to express yourself well. Learn how to meet new people and how to start and hold exciting conversa-tions with them.  Know how to interact with all different races of people. Be friendly and courteous in your conversations. Find honest things to say in order to compliment and empower others. This was one of the qualities that David possessed that led to his advance-ment into success and wealth.

  1. David was a fine-looking man (1 Samuel 16:18).

We may not really know David’s physical features, but God must have known that this was important enough to mention in his Word. Looks are important to God. Regardless of our different physical features, all of us are beautiful and good-looking to God (Psalm 139:14a). You can admire the beauty of another person, but believe in and accept your own beauty. Stop comparing yourself unfavorably to others. The important thing is to keep yourself up. Eat well. Dress well. Smell attracting. How you look, dress and smell will determine who you attract. Be a fine-looking man and woman.

  1. David had God on his side (1 Samuel 16:18; 1 Samuel 18:14)

This was the greatest secret to David’s success and wealth. No one can be successful and wealthy without God. Even billionaires who reject God would not be successful and wealthy without him. Yet, any and the only true success and wealth can only come from God (1 Chronicles 29:10-14; John 3:27). Believe in Jesus Christ and you will have Him, God and the Holy Spirit on your side. This is truly the first and greatest secret to success and wealth
