David had courage and strength. David was not shy, ashamed of himself, and turned inward.
He was not afraid of a challenge or fearful of his enemies. God’s secrets to success and wealth involve courage and a willingness and ability to be a warrior. Warriors do more than survive. They keep coming back and getting up until they win. They have a winning mindse. Read More...

Wouldn’t you like to be great, successful and wealthy in life? Who wouldn’t?  Yet what is life like for the average, everyday person? It is trying to pass a class and finish school. It is keeping up with the latest tech gadgets. It is constantly talking to friends and keeping up with the latest “411” through the social media world. It is looking and hoping to land a job. It is rushing to get to work. It’s trying to pay rent or keep up with other bills. Read More...

Attitude is the overall mindset, emotional state or feelings one has toward something or someone. Joshua and Caleb had a positive can-do attitude. Their attitude was not some wild, foolish fantasy or the attitude of some religious fanatics nor even the today’s positive thinking of the unsaved or one who accepts new age teaching. Their attitude was based on God’s promises (his Word) and the evidence of his power and provision.(Read More...)

Meditation Moment: Psa. 57:1b; 131:2. Lam. 3:26. Pull Off the Road and Sit Still. Once on a road trip to La., a severe storm arose. It was so bad we had to pull off the road and sit still. Maybe your life is going through a severe storm. Pull off the road and sit still. Quiet your thoughts, spirit and emotions. Quietly wait on God. Don’t let fear stop your journey. The storm will pass over.

Yet I thought deep within my mind and heart that God had a place for me and had great and wonderful blessings for my life. I just did not know how to get there. I knew my life was moving but I didn’t know where I was going. (Read More...)

Are you looking forward to your wedding day?
(Revelation 19:6-8)? Weddings are wonderful and special times. The greatest wedding of all is fast approaching. It is the wedding between us as Christians and Jesus Christ, the Bridegroom. Living single is not an option. Being unprepared is no excuse (Matt. 22:1-14; 25:1-13). Rejoice and get ready. Our wedding is coming. Eternal joy with Jesus forever.

Earthquakes, Landslides and Tsunamis (Psalm 46:1-11)
What does your life feel like now? Does it seem like an earthquake, where everything isbreaking apart. Or is it like a landslide, where your dreams, hopes and everything precious seem to be slipping away.  God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Stay seated. Be still. Ask God to quiet your soul (Psa. 131:2; Isa. 30:25).
